Chris Girvan-Brown
Chris (aka Urban Griller) is Australia’s BBQ Guru. He is the director and head BBQ chef of the Urban Griller BBQ Cooking School and Catering Company in Western Australia. He has written numerous BBQ articles for food magazines, instruction manuals, and cookbooks. He also does BBQ cooking segments for local radio and has been running BBQ cooking schools for 14 years.


Dylan Benoit
Dylan Benoit is a professional chef and writer who travels the world in search of amazing food, and is currently eating his way through North America. Dylan has spent many summers—and winters—cooking and smoking outside on the grill and over open fires. He is a brand ambassador for Certified Angus Beef and a culinary partner of Big Green Egg and Sous Vide Supreme.



James McKay
James McKay is a backyard barbecue enthusiast from the UK who sells Weber grills for a living. He recently launched his website to share his barbecue experiences and his passion for Weber barbecues.


Rob Blum

KCBS Barbecue Judge
Rob Blum is a longtime backyard barbecue chef and KCBS barbecue judge. He owns smokers and grills of varying sizes, including his beloved Meadow Creek TS120P—aka “the Mistress.” Rob currently funds his barbecue obsession as owner of a specialty finance company serving small and medium businesses. Rob has written on barbecue for various publications over the years, and he lives in the suburbs of New York City with his wife of twenty-seven years and three sons.


Chad Ainsworth

Chad loves to cook, and has been cooking barbecue since 2001. He competes in area contests and does a little local catering. He also cooks for several youth fundraisers every year.


Pat Vance

Pat got his first smoker about twelve years ago and still loves trying new ideas. He loves cooking barbecue and sharing his knowledge with his friends, many of whom have been inspired to buy their own cookers after tasting his barbecue.


Don Porter
